ABOUT ME

I've been writing since 2000. 15 of those years were preparation, but in 2015 I started my series that I planned to publish. So, not to brag, but to brag, 15 years of preparation is more than a doctor puts into getting their degree haha. So I would say the books I'm writing now, are great!

What more is there to say. I hate moonlit walks on the beach. Just kidding, I've never walked on the beach by moonlight. I suppose I could shed some light on my motivation for writing. When I was younger, I hated reading, with the burning passion of a 1000 fiery suns! To put it lightly. I would sit there for hours, refusing to be taught how to read. I'm glad that now I can see just how moronic that was haha. Honestly, reading can open doors to so much. Somehow my mother convinced me to learn to read, but I still didn't use it much for a while. It wasn't until I was about nine, before I really started to read.

I remember clearly when it happened, when I was caught by reading. I was being home schooled and we had just picked up some books from the library and I was waiting in the car for my mom. She was inside the store, doing some shopping and I opted to stay outside. She was taking an abnormally long time and I was so board I picked up one of the books.

The book I picked up was a fantasy book, an attempt to make reading more enjoyable, on my mothers part. I started to read, then read some more and continued to read. The story was about a girl kidnapped by a dragon. She was forced to do all the dragons chores, but eventually the dragon took a liking to her and she enjoyed being there. She went on to even save that dragon later on. I can't remember what the book was, but it showed me there was more than just history and school books to read. I was hooked and started reading a bunch of fantasy books and started trying to write my own.

Many of the books I read were with knights, dragons and magic. The hero was always amazing overcoming countless obstacles. I started to emulate these heroes. to my fortune they were good heroes, not sleazebags. A huge part my character is because of the things I've read.

When I realized how big of an impact reading had in my life, I decided I wanted to write. If there was a chance i could write a book to change someone's life for the better, then I wanted in, no questions asked.

It took quite some time, but finally I began publishing my own books and have gotten some good feedback too. my goal is to write that book that has the potential of changing lives. My coaching book and books to come, are specifically designed to do just that. Even so, I know even a fantasy book, which is by far my favorite thing to write, can indeed impact a life, because it happened to me. However it come about, I write, in the hopes that at least one, if not many lives, will be changed because of it.
